The Centre Obert d’Arquitectura hosts the presentation of volumes 5 and 6 of the collection “El material d’allò construït/El material de lo construido”, promoted by Saint-Gobain Solutions and edited by QUT Ediciones (Barcelona) and Bisman Ediciones (Buenos Aires). This collection showcases the work of a selection of Catalan architecture studies characterized by their production of works where coherence between concept and materialization is clearly palpable, and which raise reflections on the meanings of “sustainability.”
The two new volumes are dedicated to the work of Josep Ferrando Architecture and Olga Felip and Josep Camps (Arquitecturia).
The book presentation will be conducted by Xavier Ortíz (Saint-Gobain Solutions) and Hernán Bisman and Pablo Engelman (Bisman Ediciones).
This event will include a roundtable discussion moderated by Fredy Massad and featuring the participation of Olga Felip (Arquitecturia), Carmen Torres (Sarquella + Torres Arquitectes), Ferran Tiñena (NUA) and Javier Hernani (Estudio Fàbric). At the halfway point of the collection and two years since the celebration of the exhibition that inaugurated this project, this roundtable aims to debate and reflect on the state of Catalan architecture today.
