The third session of the “Workshop on correct architectural practices in the city of Figueres” cycle is dedicated to individual homes inserted in the urban fabric, and it includes the participation of the following architects: Dana Palmada, Iban Roca, Eugènia Poch and Josep Maria Modolell.
Coordinated by the architect Joan Falgueras Font, this cycle aims to highlight the architect’s profession, presenting a selection of projects carried out in the city of Figueres in the last ten years. Each session will be a gathering in which solutions to the existing city will be discussed, bearing in mind that in the decade of the paralysis of the expansive real estate world, construction trades have focused on the rehabilitation of the historic city, where architecture strongly survives. The quantitative and qualitative intensity of this economic and cultural phenomenon allows to improve Figueres’ self-esteem.
