The Universe of Shared Creativity
This year, the program will revolve around the theme “SHARING” and will consist of a series of five lectures. As in previous editions, the talks will be accompanied by a selection of video creations that, under the title “MATÈRIA BOSC,” celebrate the poetic power of trees.
On July 9th, it will be the turn of the architects’ cooperative Lacol. With “Rethinking the Daily,” they present the everyday as the place of the common, the daily, and the ordinary. In a context of systemic crisis – social, environmental, and economic – the transformative potential of everyday practices is the starting point for imagining other ways of organizing and relating, of building and inhabiting architecture. The presentation of this lecture will be given by Guillem Costa Calsamiglia, Dean of the College of Architects of Catalonia.
We work to generate community infrastructures for the sustainability of life, as a key tool for the eco-social transition, through architecture, cooperativism, and participation.
We believe that the way to transform the city is through the active participation of the people who live in it and through proactive action. We address the interests related to the quality of life of all the people who share the city. The contribution of the architect is made within the urban movement as another piece of this gear, helping to translate citizens’ concerns and put them on paper, providing criteria for defining objectives and strategies, as well as tools to define and communicate ideas through graphic drawing…
Among other things, we promote debate and discussion about the uses of spaces and the management of urban spaces, city models, participation, and the recovery of heritage.
