Family Workshop. Building with Values

Once again, COAC Barcelona is promoting the Architecture Festivals, which this year will take place at Llars Mundet from May 17 to June 21, as part of the Architecture Weeks 2025.

The first of the family workshops will be WE BUILD WITH VALUES, led by Sala Ferusic Arquitectes + ETSAB.

The sculpture ‘The Construction of Values’, designed and built in wood by ETSAB students, symbolizes the values built by the architecture student and upheld by the architect. It speaks of personal, academic, and professional values, but also of the quantifiable values that allow for architectural design, fabrication, and construction. It speaks of architects and speaks of architecture.

ARCHITECTURE FESTIVALS 2025
COAC Barcelona is promoting the Architecture Festivals from May 17 to June 21, as part of Architecture Weeks 2025. During this period, Barcelona becomes the epicenter of a wide range of activities related to architecture, urbanism, design, and the city, beyond disciplinary boundaries, highlighting the social function of architects and valuing the architecture of the region, raising awareness about the value of heritage, and encouraging the discovery of the surrounding environment.

As a major novelty, the Festivals will take place in one location: Llars Mundet, which will be the center of the activities that COAC Barcelona is preparing for Barcelona’s World Capital of Architecture 2026.
