The new Neighborhoods Law, Law 11/2022 of December 29, on the urban, environmental, and social improvement of neighborhoods and towns, emphasizes the importance of drafting neighborhood projects with the participation of as many technical and social stakeholders from the municipality as possible. In this conference, architect Itziar González will explain the key areas of the proposal (Urban Planning, Ecological Transition, and Community Action), as well as the project’s development criteria and the stakeholders involved so far.

During the same session, ongoing work related to the drafting of various urban planning documents will be presented (Special Land Use Plan; Designation of a Conservation and Rehabilitation Area and the ARES in some of the blocks of the Historic Center; Amendment of the Municipal Urban Development Plan (POUM) in the Historic Center, etc.). The session will conclude with a Q&A and contributions to the proposal.
