Once again, COAC Barcelona is promoting the Architecture Festivals, which this year will take place at Llars Mundet from May 17 to June 21, as part of the 2025 Architecture Weeks.
The fourth of the family workshops will be BUILDING WITH SILENCE, led by architect Amaya Caballero, ETSAB, and La Casa del Silencio.
What will Barcelona’s first Sound Refuge be like? We will measure and define the essential criteria that this space must meet.

ARCHITECTURE FESTIVALS 2025
COAC Barcelona is promoting the Architecture Festivals, taking place from May 17 to June 21 as part of the 2025 Architecture Weeks. During this period, Barcelona becomes the epicenter of a wide variety of activities related to architecture, urban planning, design, and the city—going beyond disciplinary boundaries to highlight the social role of architects, showcase the value of local architecture, raise awareness of heritage, and encourage exploration of the environment.
As a major innovation this year, the Festivals will take place in a single location: Llars Mundet, which will serve as the hub for the activities that COAC Barcelona is preparing for Barcelona’s World Capital of Architecture 2026.
