Once again, COAC Barcelona is promoting the Architecture Festival, which this year will be held at Llars Mundet from May 17 to June 21, as part of Architecture Weeks 2025.
The second family workshop will be BUILDING WITH SOAP, led by architect Santi Estopà from the Museum of Mathematics.
What shape do soap bubbles have? Always…? What if we built a soap bubble inside a cube? And inside a pyramid? And above all: why?
We will discover how soap bubbles work, the concept of minimal surface area, review basic geometry concepts such as angles and polygons, and connect soap with modern architecture.
ARCHITECTURE WEEKS 2025
COAC Barcelona is promoting the Architecture Festival from May 17 to June 21, as part of Architecture Weeks 2025. During this period, Barcelona becomes the epicenter of a wide range of activities related to architecture, urbanism, design, and the city—going beyond disciplinary boundaries, highlighting the social role of architects, valuing the architecture of the territory, raising awareness about the importance of heritage, and encouraging the discovery of the environment.
As a major novelty, the Festival will take place in a single location: Llars Mundet, which will be the hub of the activities that COAC Barcelona is preparing for Barcelona’s World Capital status in 2026.
