Do you want to experience the Oliva Artés MUHBA with all your senses? We wake up on Sunday, May 15, ready to visit the Industrial Heritage at the Sant Martí Architecture Festival, in order to experience how various limitations, such as blindness, open us to discover other worlds, spaces and sensibilities never experienced before, until we are thrown into it. With the show “Avec le temps” we will go through time dancing, and we will hear the history of the factory. These are spaces which are lived intensely thanks to the strategic actions of architects who give life to buildings even if they are pending completion.

With the help of various collaborating entities, we look forward to sharing the following ACTIVITIES:

  • 11.00: A welcome from COAC Barcelona
  • 11.10-12: Jordi Badia explanation. Oliva Artés Project
  • 12-12.35: Show With Time (Toni Mira + Claire Ducreux)
  • 12.45 – 13.15: Experimentation of space with the senses
  • 13.15 – 14.00: Visit to the MUHBA exhibition, with music and dance

ARCHITECTURE FESTIVAL 2022

As part of the 2022 Architecture Festival, the COAC’s Barcelona Demarcation is holding 10 Architecture Festivals, one for each of the city’s districts. All these parties are face-to-face and open to the public, always respecting health safety measures.

Organised by the different Territorial Groups of Architects of Barcelona, together with other entities such as residents’ associations, universities, architects¡ offices or different schools in each district, these festivals have as their main objective to claim a space or an emblematic building in each district. Guided tours, talks, concerts and various types of workshops are organised around these public spaces and buildings, among others. The ultimate goal is to highlight the profession of architects and their social function, always aimed at serving the public.
