The exhibition of the 4th edition of the Architecture Exhibit continues its tour through the Library Network of the Diputación de Barcelona, and this month it can be visited at the Ca l’Altisent Library in Sant Climent de Llobregat.

This exhibition, the result of a competition held in 2021 by the Barcelona district, presents in a playful and flexible way the different works and projects submitted to the “Catalan Architecture Exhibits” program—in this case, the 4th edition of Barcelona—reproduced on a series of panels distributed among the various modules that make up the exhibition, inviting visitors to interact with and explore the displayed material.

The content is presented in different wooden modules: a combination of boxes and filing cabinets that allow varying degrees of exposure of the contents. This arrangement also facilitates the creation of a narrative thread in the staging of the system, which adapts to the space where it is installed, thus adopting different configurations. Accessibility criteria have been especially taken into account, approached from a broad perspective.

The exhibition, designed by Salvestudio—a team formed by Jordi Quetglas and Mireia Costa—is intended for quick and easy assembly, minimizing the use of packaging materials, since the exhibition module itself becomes the container for the displayed material. Produced under the direction of Salvestudio at the Estudi Ferran Sendra carpentry workshop in Cornellà de Llobregat, led by architect Ariadna Sendra, the exhibition also aims to highlight the added value and business innovation of an industry that supports architects.
