The Central Counties Branch of the COAC and the ETSAB-Càtedra Gaudí present the exhibition “Archive Càtedra Gaudí: A New Vision of the Modernist Architect.”
The Gaudí Chair, established by ministerial order on March 3, 1956, is a research and documentation center at the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB). Its mission is the preservation, dissemination, and study of an exceptional heritage surrounding Antoni Gaudí and the architecture and urban planning of the 19th and 20th centuries.
Through replicas of drawings created by the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí, visitors will discover the patrimonial collection safeguarded by ETSAB and gain insight into the uniqueness of one of the most internationally renowned figures from our land.
The Manresa venue complements the exhibition with a lecture on Tuesday, June 17 at 6:00 p.m., delivered by professor and former director of the Gaudí Chair, Jaume Sanmartí. Under the title “A New Vision of Gaudí,” the talk will delve into the distinctive features of the modernist architect.
The exhibition can be visited at the Pórtico Room of Casa Lluvià, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., until September 4.
