Intersedes: Restoration Works of the Manresa Site

The Demarcations of the Central Counties and the Ebro have organized two guided visits to the restoration works of part of the Cathedral of Santa Maria of Tortosa and the rehabilitation works of the Basilica of Santa Maria of La Seu of Manresa, led by the respective lead architects.

Last April, participants enjoyed the restoration works of the apse of the Cathedral of Tortosa, and on Saturday, June 7, we will head to the Central Counties to visit the Basilica of Santa Maria of La Seu of Manresa, guided by architect Jaume Soldevila i Segura and technical architect Jaume Soldevila i Ribera.

The guided visit on Saturday, June 7 will follow this schedule:

• 11:00 a.m. – Welcome reception for colleagues from Terres de l’Ebre and the Central Counties in front of the entrance to the Basilica of Santa Maria of La Seu of Manresa.

• 11:15 a.m. – Visit to the Espai Oliba, where we will explore the different construction phases the Basilica has undergone.

• 12:00 p.m. – Start of the visit to the restoration works of the side naves and roofs of the Basilica, including the central nave roof.

• 1:30 p.m. – Transfer to Restaurant Taverna 1913 (Plaça Major, 13, Manresa).

• 2:00 p.m. – Lunch at Restaurant Taverna 1913 (menu for Saturday, June 7: €25 / Vegan option: €23).
