Fourth session of the MARQ 2022/2023 cycle – Master’s Degree in Architecture, with the conference ‘Domestic recreation’, carried out by the architect Ivet Gasol from Cierto Studio.
Ivet Gasol Escuer
Co-founding partner of Cierto Estudio, a team of six young architects in constant experimentation who deploy their interests in the fields of architecture, design, culture and research.
Based in Barcelona, the studio was founded in 2014 by Marta Benet, Ivet Gasol, Carlota Gispert, Anna Llonch, Lucia Millet and Clara Vidal. They aim to promote innovation in new collective housing models aligned with
contemporary trends and needs.
With their project 'Walking from the Centre' they have won the first prize in the competition to design the Eixample’s new green block, redeveloping Consell de Cent Street as a new green axis of the city.
Their work has also been recognised with the first prize for the future social housing building in Les Glòries Square, and for a promotion of 70 public housing units in Masnou.
They have been selected in the "Interior design" category of the Fad 2020 edition with the 'Cruce House&' refurbishment; they were finalists in the 2020 Simón Award edition and winners of an AJAC Award in the 'Unbuilt work' category.
