GIRONA ARCHITECTOUR: HERITAGE BY THE RIVER OF LA GARROTXA

Following the example of the Girona Architectour: Revisiting the modern architecture of Cadaqués, the Garrotxa-Ripollès Delegation organises the Girona Architectour: the heritage by the river of La Garrotxa, scheduled for Saturday 30 April, from 9:30 am to 14:00 pm.

In this first edition, we will visit the Brutau factory in Sant Jaume de Llierca, the Molí Fondo in Sant Joan les Fonts and Can Plana in La Canya; a route focused on highlighting and discovering the past, the present and the future of three of the factories along the river of La Garrotxa. All of them are of different scales and have had interventions carried out and planned, both public and private, to revitalise them.

Program

9.30 am.- Reception and breakfast at La Brutau in Sant Jaume de Llierca.

9.45 am to 10.30 am.- Visit to La Brutau.

10.30 am to 11 am.- Travel from Sant Jaume de Llierca to Sant Joan les Fonts.

11 to 12.30 pm.- Visit to the Molí Fondo.

12:30 to 13 pm.- Travel from Sant Jaume de Llierca to La Canya.

13 to 14 pm.- Visit to Can Plana de La Canya.

2 pm.- End of the route.
