History, challenges and innovations of earth construction in modern times. The conference will be held in English.
Speaker
Felix Hilgert studied civil engineering at ETH Zurich and wrote his master's thesis on "Excavation material as a new building resource for Zurich". From 2012 to 2014 he was a technical employee at DI Reinhard Donabauer; from 2017 Hilgert is employed at Boltshauser Architekten AG, Zurich, and since autumn 2018 he is a research assistant at ETH Zurich. In 2019, Felix Hilgert founded LEHMAG AG together with Lukas Baumann, a construction company for sustainable construction with excavated clay.
